Easy Mothers' Day Cards

When we did our marble painting, I used 5 by 5 inch squares of paper.  When they were done, I couldn't help but envision them with a colored border on a white card for Bear's teachers (I'm a little late for their teachers' appreciation week!).

These would make great Mothers' Day cards too!

In case you don't know how to do marble painting, you need
some tempera paint,
paper,
a few marbles,
and a tray or recycled box (as shown below).
Cut your paper to fit the box.  Lay the paper inside.  Dip your marbles in the color of paint you desire, then put the marbles in the box or tray and roll away.
It's super simple and looks very pretty.

  1. This is a lovely idea for making teacher appreciation day cards! We're late with ours, also, unfortunately!

  2. Strangely, our teacher appreciation week is later in the month, so I am taking advantage of everyone else's ideas :)
