Bear likes to set up the fairies and fairy house on colored felt to make playscapes. Here's one we played with extensively last week during J-jo's naps instead of being in the schoolroom.
I'd love playsillks, but felt works just as well for now.
Love how the plastic turtle joined in the play to give the fairies a ride.
Fairies like to sit on pieces of bark, climb on rocks and eat little dried beans we collected in Costa Rica.
We even made a hill and cave for the fox.
Pretend play like this is so important to build storytelling skills.

ReplyDeletelove the playscapes!
ReplyDeleteI love your playscapes. Anna is not too much into constructing elaborate environments yet - she seems to "see" the missing pieces in her mind. I think I need to show her the possibilities to let her creative juices flow.
ReplyDeleteLovely playscape :) Great idea for indoor wet weather play too.
ReplyDeleteWow! She has quite an imagination!
ReplyDeleteWith this wet weather I think all the kiddlings are finding new life in some of their indoor toys! Princess has been going made for her blocks and felt this week .. but more on that with next weeks link up :)
