I is for Insect - some practical life activities

 On the shelf:

 Tweezing ladybugs - (one-to-one correspondence). 

 Transferring water to the suction cups of the butterfly - without overflowing them - (pincer grasp in preparation for writing)

 Threading insect beads - (pincer grasp)

 Sorting insects from non-insects

 Matching insects by type and feel, not color.  We've been trying to do this with the insects in the stereognostic bag.

 I can count insects.  Shelf set-up.

 In action.  Choose a number stamp.  Stamp it, then count out that many stickers for the page.  Staple pages together to make a counting book.  (Use each number stamp only once).
