Panning for Gem Stones and Digging for Fossils

A few weekends ago we went to a neat science museum and planetarium.  

We saw the biggest truck ever.

We saw some dinosaurs and other neat creatures.


We also saw lots and lots of rocks and gems.

But best of all, we got to pan for gemstones


and dig up fossils.

And the even better part is that we got to take our treasures home:)

    This is a great museum. The best museums are the ones where kids get to do things and hopefully to take something home.

    What a cool museum. We used to pan for gold & gems in Dahlonega, GA when I was growing up. It's really fun. It looks like both of your kids really enjoyed it.
