Another Art Appreciation Book

I love Look Closer: A lift and Learn Art Adventure because each two page spread shows one piece of art on the left and three close up views on the right of the painting on the left. The close up views are on flaps to lift and underneath those flaps are information and questions for each painting, another close up view of the painting, and little circles depicting the palette of each painting. It is the perfect book for some art history and   art appreciation.  At the end of the book is information about each style of painting and art through the centuries.  Although Bear never wants to sit still for long when it comes to art books I like that we can do one painting when the mood strikes.  Bear enjoys this book because of the flaps.  I like that we can grow into this book.  We'll be signing this out of the library periodically.
