Question

Does anyone doing Montessori know about Kid Advance?  I just found them through an ad on Amazon and did a comparison between it and Montessori Outlet, which until now I have found to have the best prices.  If I placed the order of the things I want to start up my Montessori program with Bear and her cousins, the cost is less through Kid Advance.  I'm concerned about the quality of the products, though.  So, does anyone know about them or have used them?

    I had a not so good experience with Montessori Outlet.
    I have heard great things about Kid advance, though I have not ordered from them myself.

    Yes, I buyed Montessori Materials in Kid Advance: The Cylinders (both), sand letters, number rods (the small ones), land forms cards. The quality was super, the packigin awesome. Everything was Super, Beautiful and of Good Quality!!!

    I haven't heard of this place, but I checked out the site and the materials look ok... hard to know until you actually order. If I were you I'd place a small order - maybe something like a puzzle where you can gague craftsmanship and then if you're happy with it, place the rest of your order with them.
    I've been very pleased with Montessori n Such - their customer service and deliver time is great and their products are excellent for the price.

    I haven't ordered from them, but have heard they are pretty good. I have heard lots of bad things about Montessori Outlet, though. You also might want to look at AdenaMontessori and aplusmontessori. I haven't ordered from either of them either, but I think they are both cheaper than MontessoriOutlet and a little cheaper than KidAdvance. Ifit is another good one (Montessoriequipment.com) but they are in Canada, so if you are in the US the shipping can be pretty high.

    BTW, I am till working on a post answering your question about what to make and what to buy. It's just taking a while. Hopefully I'll have it up sometime next week.
