I had a lot of old Christmas cards stashed up and I noticed that sometimes on the back of a Christmas card is a tiny picture of the card or of an item of the card. I had seen a matching game on Chasing Cheerios in which she used calendars. I decided to make a similar game for Bear.
I also made her one using art cards I had bought at an art museum. We use this for art appreciation. Since I had more than one of each card, I cut parts of the card out in tiny squares and she has to match the parts to the intact card. There are more than one square to match up to each card so this is more challenging than the Christmas card matching.
I love this idea! I'm going to have to check out our stack of old cards from last year.
ReplyDeleteI like the matching idea too. We use the old cards for puzzles as well. It's time to round up winter resources :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea - I especially like using 2 cards that are the same and having multiple pieces to match up!
