On Advent Day 8, we went to the beach for four days. It was a lot of fun. Bear lugged her floating turtle everywhere as if he were her new bff. It was so adorable to see her talk to him and tell him, "Tortuga stay in sun. Dry off." Then when the wind blew him back into the pool, she scolded him, "No, Tortuga. Stay in sun!"
Bear also really enjoyed playing in the sand and the waves. She built destroyed all the castles and enjoyed hunting for treasures. The best part was finding bird tracks in the sand and following them.
J-Jo took a lot of catnaps and sat in the shallow end of the pool.
Trip to the beach in December? I am so jealous! :) Your kids are adorable! Glad you guys had fun. I love that Bear was bossing around her "tortuga."

ReplyDeleteA beach get away - how perfect. What a relaxing way to spend four days during this time of year. Following bird tracks would have been a great adventure.
ReplyDeleteAw, your kids look so much like mine (age wise) in these pics! I remember reading these posts back then and your daughter seemed so much older than mine, I can't believe how quickly time flies.
