Coffee Filter Angels

I started by preparing the things in the photograph below.

Draw a triangle on your piece of construction paper.  Have your LO cut it out if she is able to.  Bear enjoyed this cutting practice.  Repeat with a circle.  (Bear did not cut out the circle.)  If your child is older, he can draw the facial features and arms, but again, I had to do this part.

Glue the head to the triangle.

Have your child draw on the coffee filters with markers (I cut the cone shape filter apart to make two wings). Then use the eye dropper to drop water onto the filters; the ink will spread.  Let these dry, then attach them with glue to body of the angel.

 

 

I had Bear glue little pieces of gold tissue paper to the halo.

Glue the halo on and admire your pretty angels!
