Snail Prints - a painting project

An easy way to have fun using something from the kitchen.

Materials:
flat kitchen sponge
masking tape
tempera paint
cardstock

Cut a flat sponge cloth into three strips.
Layer the strips so that one strip sticks out more than the rest.
Roll the stacked strips (the two inside strips create space in the coil so that you get white spaces when sponging) and tape.
Dip end into paint.
Sponge onto paper.
