Friday Five: My favorite Catholic Resources (so far)

One of my goals this year is to engage the kids in learning about the saints by celebrating some of the feast days.  Here are my favorite sites to get ideas, not only for feast day ideas, but for Catholic home schooling as a whole.

1. Two great Catholic pinners pin lots of wonderful ideas here and here.

2. Two of my favorite blogs - the first two I discovered when I first started looking - Catholic Icing  and Shower of Roses blog (absolutely love this blog)

3. Equipping Catholic Families

4. That Resource Site (not everything here is free, but their yearly membership is reasonable)

5. 4Realforums - a forum full of discussions on Catholic homeschooling and Catholic home life.

As for books, we really don't have that many strictly Catholic ones, but the children absolutely love the books Catholic Tales for Boys and Girls and More Catholic Tales for Boys and Girls.
There area plethora of great books that I see Shower of Roses mention often, but unfortunately, I didn't find out about Neumann Press until after they closed.  I am so happy that TAN books has acquired Neumann Press and will be publishing many of the titles soon.
