Bear love the sparkly glitter used in the illustrations of this book. The illustrations are warm and cozy and very sweet, depicting cute little animals getting ready for Christmas. The simple rhyming text is perfect for babies and toddlers. My kids still like this kind of book despite being 3 and 5. I can see us using the book with Bear to encourage her to write her own similar story as the story follows a fairly rhythmic pattern:
Cold air blows.
Scarf round nose.
Lots to do.
Bustle through.
It's shopping time.
If you are looking for a Christmas book for a baby or young toddler, this is a darling one.
