Lego/Duplo Party on a Budget

Bear and J-jo have birthdays a week apart so this year we had one party.  They both love Lego and Duplo bricks, so it just made sense to do a Lego party.

Games:

Giant building.

 Find the Lego man.

Duplo Toss (stack 4 bricks together for kids to toss).  The wooden carnival ball toss is actually one of those stands for flower pots at the florists.

We had a couple of building relay races as well, but mostly the kids just enjoyed running around the backyard.  Unfortunately a rainstorm moved us all inside for cake and icecream.

 Cake and Cookies:

Very amateurish cookies and very blurry photo makes them look worse!  They did taste good and none were left at the end of the party.
I had also covered juice boxes with construction paper and colored dots to make them look like a Duplo brick.  Photos are blurry.

Coloring sheets, a pencil, and some Lego brick crayons as a small party favor.

The ideas were all found via Pinterest, though the "giant building" was Bear and J-jo's idea.

The kids had a great time!
