School room construction update

I posted last week about the remodeling we are having done to our house.  Here's a reminder of what it looked like before we started (with furniture mostly already moved out).

And now....with a ceiling!

 We chose to save money by painting ourselves so we have all that work to do now. The white patch on the red wall is where they did electrical work.

Here is the main upstairs room, view from the hallway.  The flooring still needs to go down and the contractor needs to come back for one final sanding before we can paint. 

 View from the window.  Door at left will be DH's office space.  He gets a window, but it is rather small.  The door on the right is the walk in closet for school supplies.  The room across the hallway will become J-jo's own bedroom (he calls our bedroom his room right now).  I am more excited about his room than the school room! The whole remodel was actually because we needed an office space with a door for my husband who works from home.  He is currently in the spare room, which we need for J-jo because we have tried to have Bear and J-jo share a room and it did not work for us.
