March Play Dough

Spring has arrived where we live and the flowers blooming are such an inspiration. Already all the magnolias and cherry blossoms are out.

I made chocolate play dough for Bear and J-jo and included our silk flowers to create gardens.
Then I pulled out the green play dough from Christmas (it is still good and smells divinely of peppermint extract) and we got busy making lettuce gardens for Bear's bunny.
Bear added "signs" (on toothpicks) that say "Rabbit, don't eat the lettuce!"
Later, we realized the play dough was perfect for J-jo's new construction vehicles.  (We love these Plan Toy vehicles, which I got to review for csnstores, and I plan on ordering this set soon so we can have a dump truck with which to play too.)

This will probably be the most played with play dough in a while.

  1. So fun! Reminds me of our dough from last May (http://countingcoconuts.blogspot.com/2010/05/may-sensory-tub-playdough-gardening.html) - James loved sticking the flowers into the garden. That little rabbit in the lettuce patch is just too cute. :)
