Preschool Wrap Up - Week 6

I hardly took pictures this week.  We were also very busy.  Bear went to a Montessori school half day Monday for an observation.  She loved it.  The teachers loved her and were excited that she could already read and that Bear knew about needing a mat for her work and about putting work away.
We're still undecided about whether or not to send her to school.

At home, it seems like we had play date after play date this week. I guess that is the beauty of being three.  We don't have to worry too much if not much math or reading "work" gets done:)

 Using a screwdriver to work.

 Art project.
 Practical Life. (making fruit salad)

Pasting stickers onto paper.  They are those lick and stick stickers so she is brushing the backs with water, learning not to use too much water.
 Mopping a spill.
The bank game.  Here she is bringing me 6151.

For language we played sound games and played with the phonograms (oo, ee, ea, ar, er, ur, ou, ow and a few more).  Currently her reading instruction happens as she reads me a book.  We haven't had time to sit down and have formal lessons.

  1. What a terrific week - I especially liked your screwdriver activity. I am curious to see what you will decide about school. I know for a fact that I would go mental if I had to entertain Anna 24x7, but you always seem to have great ideas :)
