J-jo is walking! That's the most exciting part of Tot School this week.
As for other things we're working on:
Transferring:
Mommy counted the three spools as he dropped them into the dish.
Hand-Eye Coordination:
I stuck a dowel into a cardboard box and hot glued it in place. Then I bought spools and napkin rings at a craft store for him to place on the dowels. The spools are a bit too challenging and the napkin rings are a little bit too easy.
Small Spaces:
He still loves to take whatever is on the shelf to his right and drop it into the rolled up mats.
Pincer Grasp:
Turning pages in a book certainly practices the pincer grasp (see his left hand).
Practical Life:
Helping Mommy make zucchini and carrot pancakes (recipe found at Weelicious).

Woo-hoo! Congratulations! Very soon he will be joining Bear in preschool :)
ReplyDeleteI love the dowel/spools idea! Very clever, Mama. (Also, we had a great time with our artist-inspired painting this weekend and are looking forward to linking up on Tuesday).
