After a week of planets, Bear asked if we could learn about trees. So I whipped up a tree puzzle using felt, much like I did for the flower puzzle. Here's what a typical Montessori tree puzzle looks like.
Here is Bear's felt tree puzzle. She asked for a nest, eggs and a cardinal, and I happily obliged.
I love these "puzzles"! I think this is the route we'll be going as well, rather than buying all of the wooden puzzles. Thanks for the great idea!
ReplyDeletelove the cardinal!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE all your Poor Man's puzzles.
ReplyDeleteThey're brilliant!
What a ripoff - your puzzle is just as good or better. It's great that Bear is so self-directed in what she wants to learn more about.
ReplyDeletecute birdie and eggs :)
ReplyDeletelove it, great job. karen
