My Mom sent Bear a very generous package that we received yesterday. With the contents of this package, we were able to do a bit of egg and Easter related activities.
A bunny puzzle.
An egg hunt. Each egg had different amounts of oyster crackers inside and Bear had to count the amounts of crackers and lay them under the correct numerals. She then had to decide if the number of crackers was odd or even. Yeah, sometimes I make her work for her snacks!
She received a bunch of eggs to hang in those Easter trees. I found a branch outside, taped it to her "castle" (built from the boxes from our Ikea furniture), and she decorated her branch. She even grouped all the eggs by color.
A package of Easter erasers just begged to be sorted using tweezers.
Stamping is always one of Bear's favorite activities.
Another box just arrived for Bear during her nap (knock on wood, but she's napping again!) and I can't wait to see what she got today!
It's great that Bear got such a nice Easter surprise. Anna is so-o-o not interested in ordering and grouping - she'd rather make a mix out of different objects and declare it a "salad".
