A little bit of white glue squeezed
into a puddle on a hard surface like a cookie sheet can soon become
a lovely little snowman.
Add some buttons, googly eyes, a pipe cleaner nose and a little felt for a scarf and there he is.
Let him dry completely then peel him off.
This project completely appeals to the toddler's and preschooler's intense desire to squeeze glue bottles as if there were no tomorrow!
Oh my goodness. Sweet Pea would be crazed about this. Her two favorite things right now are snowmen (which she calls "Frosties") and gluing things. I'm putting a bottle of Elmer's glue on my shopping list right now. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such an awesome idea - I am always blown away with your creativity. Thanks for sharing your brilliance with us :)
ReplyDeleteToddlers and preschoolers??? Heck, I have an intense desire to squeeze the crap out of a bottle of glue once in awhile! :-) What fun!! Seriously, my daughter would love this!
ReplyDeleteWe did this a few weeks ago to make Christmas Ornaments. Yours look much cuter though! http://mymontessorihomeblog.blogspot.com/2009/12/glue-ornaments.html
ReplyDeleteYes it does, and I've heard they can be put on the window as window clings.
