I think the best one I've found is The Beginner's Bible, written by Karyn Henley and illustrated by Dennas Davis. The language is perfect for a toddler, ideas are presented very well, I could go on and on. The amazon page is
Great question. I like the Beginner Bible by Karen Henley. (I understand there is another one, same title and publisher by Kelly Pulman that isn't as good, but I haven't compared.)
The stories are short enough my little ones stay interested and the rhyming has helped them to actually memorize many of their favorites! We read this almost every night as the last stories before bedtime! I really can't say enough about it!
Regarding The Beginner's Bible by Karyn Henley: Karyn's original version is out of print, although it can be found on used book sites. Karyn has since written The Begin-to-Read Bible which serves the same age bracket. You can check it out at http://karynhenley.com/site_pages/Bibleprod_new.htm#anchBTR
Other Bible products are available at that website as well.
No recommendations, but let me know if you find one you like?

ReplyDeleteWe also love the Karen Henley one at our house.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Looks like we're getting that one! It's expensive, but I found some reasonably priced used ones. Looking forward to receiving it!
