Phonics Objects

We won a giveaway at Joyful Learner!  She sent us a set of phonics objects in the cutest little pouch.  Love the pouch!
As soon as I opened the pouch, Bear got to work naming them and matching the objects to the magnet letters, without even being asked.  We've done this kind of work a lot, but with larger, two dimensional objects.  The miniatures give it a new spin.  We'll use them lots with J-jo in a few years.

  1. Wow, cool. Congrats on winning the phonics objects. I am trying so hard to find little objects (I used to work at a Montessori and loved their little collection they had for each sound). I will be following your blog. If you have a chance I invite you over to check out my blog:

  2. What a great thing to win! Hunting down objects to represent each sound can be so time consuming!

  3. How neat to get this treasure. Anna loves anything small and would use this set for imagination play. She uses her letters exclusively for food-preparation games :)

  4. How fun! I've just started trying to round up some little objects for phonics activities.
