Didn't have a chance to read the article yet, but strangely the post below didn't have comments enabled. I like the idea of the 2-player 100 board, but what is the winning move? Anna returned to DreamBox and keeps telling me proudly how she loves 100 chart and how good she is at it, but they don't have an exercise to build something on a completely empty 100 chart.

Thanks! I like this post very much, I will incorporate several ideas into our summer and hopefully will remember a bunch for when my children are older and in school.

I couldn't post a comment on the Hundred board so here I am . . . I really like how simple and engaged these child and parent interactions are. Your post gives parents many quick, fun ideas on how to keep the kiddos "using" their math skills this summer. Keep up the wonderful playful learning! :)
