Rainbow Pegs and Cups

I made this for J-jo before Thanksgiving and forgot to post it. The pegs and cups are from Hobby Lobby with 40 and fifty percent off coupons. I used non toxic watercolor paint to color the wood.
They were going to be a Santa gift, but Bear saw me making them and so they’ll just be a Mommy gift.

Do you know what size your pegs and cups were? i bought some, but they don't fit in the cup.
7/8 of an inch diameter. They all fit fine into 7/8 of an inch cups, but after I painted them, I had to sand the inside of the cups to have the pegs fit better. I think the watercolors made them swell. Try sanding the pegs and the inside of the cups before you paint and then you may need to sand inside the cups again after you paint.
