Bead sorting by color
Bead stringing, but having to copy the pattern card
Tonging Fall colored pompoms

Fall sensory bin (inspired by Counting Coconuts)
Bear preferred to lay the leaves out on the "forest floor" and play at picking apples.
Taking apart a flashlight and putting the batteries back in.
disclaimer: Bear tried each tray once and that was that. Most of these were for toddlers I was going to be teaching once a week; however, their mother canceled on me.
We've been doing Montessori, but I'm trying to take fewer pictures, in light of Bear wanting to do nothing but take pictures herself.

Fun activities - especially for someone who hasn't been exposed to spooning/tonging/etc. How do you keep small parts away from Jo-Jo?
I keep those activities on a shelf out of his reach!
You did a great job setting up these trays! Although Bear's too advanced for them, I think they'd be great trays for anyone interested in them - not just toddlers. :) They're especially good for children who like detailed work and need to work on fine motor skills. There's a Montessori classroom I assist in from time to time and I see quite a few 3 and 4 year olds working on tonging and spooning. :) I suppose it's all about their interests!

I love they trays you have set up for fall. My almost 5 year old still wants to work with the little beads like you have set up (Are those the kind you can iron after to make a picture?)
I have many works out for younger children that my older daughter still enjoys working with - I just go with the flow and think that is why Maria Montessori had multi-aged groups of children!
