Beach Sensory Bin

>> Wednesday, July 14, 2010

As we have just returned from a fabulous 4 days at the beach, I made Bear a beach sensory bin to enhance her memories of being there.  Bear LOVES the beach.  She loves finding shells, rocks, drift wood, and jsut playing in the waves.
I brought home a bit of the beach by bringing home a large yogurt container full of sand.  Then I placed the treasures Bear found while at the beach on top.  I can't wait to show it to her!

Ah, great minds think alike! I just posted our beach sensory tub, too. Looks like Bear found some amazing treasures. :)

That looks like so much fun! Should really bring back memories of the beach. Were you able to get things actually from the beach you were at? Here in MI the shells are just fragments so it's not worth it.

Thanks for this great idea. I did this today and can't wait to share it with Jack and Joe next week. You are full of so many wonderful ideas and always go out of your way to share. Your children are so blessed to have you for their mom.
