J-jo is 10 months old
All of his activities are for coordination and fine motor skills.  We talk to him endlessly and label everything he touches ("Oh, look, J-jo, that's a blue circle!" etc).
His favorite things currently are the M&D shapes puzzle with big knobs, the M&D latches board, his nesting cubes and cups, and his books.

Shapes (he can sometimes get the circle in, but really, he prefers to learn his shapes by putting them in his mouth).
 Exploring Shape Sorter shapes.
J-jo loves to take part of his sister's learning, so while she was "writing" words with her foam letters, he was "learning" his letters.  I love how Bear teaches him.  "O, J-jo!  You're eating O!"

 Hammering.

My Lil' Ladybug loves the peg puzzles. I have a picture of her on my blog from last week playing with one. She is actually just crawling around the room with the peg in her mouth.
