Splatter Painting

>> Friday, June 18, 2010

Warning: This is not for the faint of heart.   This was one messy project.  I didn't do this far away enough from the sides of the house and we now have beautiful turquoise splatters on our French doors and siding, not to mention all over the patio.

 Bear did enjoy herself tremendously.
She found it a bit challenging to fling her arm strongly enough at first, but eventually found a rhythm that worked.
End product.  I will be using these as gift wrap for her birthday presents in August.
Of course, Bear herself became a work of art in the process.

Oh wow, you are a brave mom. I think we'll try this on a hot day, outside, in swimsuits, and then have the kids go in the wading pool!

@artsy_momma - she definitely got more on herself! It looked really good though. So good, that we let it dry and then she got to show her Daddy when he got home from work.

Your splatter painting turned out great! I learned my lesson last year and took ours WAY out in the grass last week for art playgroup. I love the photo of her little legs all covered in paint!
