A Wonderful Surprise! (And a Pay-it Forward Giveaway)

>> Sunday, May 16, 2010

We were fortunate to win a wonderful surprise package from the girls at Frugal Family Fun way back before our move back to the States.  I never got to blog about it, but I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Valerie and Emily for their choices.  We love them all!  Winnie the Pooh hardly leaves Bear's arms.  The cd is always playing in the car.  The scratch and sniff book is lots of fun. I could go on.  :)  I hid that Learn to Draw book and Bear will be getting that one at her birthday in August.

I also participated in a Pay it Forward last year at Tired Need Sleep.  Nicole also sent us lots of great stuff but I never got a chance to photograph it. Bear loved the stencils and sparkly pens, her flower stickers, and the giraffe grew enormous (It was the source of a great measurement set of lessons).  Thank you Nicole!

I finally have my life house back together enough to feel like I can finally pay that forward.

If you are interested in receiving a surprise package from us, just leave a comment by May 21st and I will select one comment at random.

Oooh, that looks like hours of fun! I can just imagine how Bear enjoys that paper punch! By the way, I see some Crayole whasable markers peeking out from the stash. Can anyone tell me just how washable they are? Have tried a different brand before, but alas, it dis NOT wash out..

@ Joyful Mama - I've always been able to wash out washable Crayola products. Just don't put Spray and Wash or any of those products on it and be prompt about washing it in the machine.
