With some wooden cubes from Michael's, I made bear a game to practice reading bigger numbers. I wrote numbers 1 to 6 or 4 to 9 on three cubes. You can throw all three dice and line up the numbers rolled and read the three digit number.
Bear and I use two dice and practice two-digit numbers. She rolls and I ask her which cube should go first to create the largest two digit number. She arranges her die, I read the number for her and then I roll. Bear has to decide if I rolled a larger two-digit number than she did.
Simple. Fun. Learning.
