We read The Princess and the Pizza at breakfast time.
I'm sure the project to go with this book is very obvious,
and it's not art.
We made pizza!
This is not a new activity for us.
We make pizza once a week.
It is normally part of our Friday Family nights to make pizza together.
This time Baby Boy joined us on the counter to watch.

Bear favorite part is to eat the dough.

We also played with her felt pizza.

Pizza making could be art - it just depends on what you do with the toppings. Great book suggestion, thanks.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to look at the pizza book. Will you care to share your recipe - I would really like to try some homemade pizza too.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a fun Mommy! We need to make a pizza. Thank you SO much for your detailed response to my question about organizing/setting up activities. I REALLY appreciate the time and effort it took! My mother is coming to visit next week (isn't it nice to have our mothers around) and I am hoping to use some of the time that it will free up to use some of your ideas to get us more organized. Thanks again! I will let you know how it turns out.
ReplyDeleteGreat activity :) Ryleigh helps me make pizza a lot too. She doesn't eat the dough though when we make it...just all the toppings!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up and it is true cooking is an art :0)
ReplyDeleteMaybe my princess will finally eat pizza if she reads that book!
ReplyDeleteLooks fun!
ReplyDeleteI have not read this book before. I'll have to look for it. We are going to be making pizza with our kids this weekend to go along with another book but maybe I can add this one to our plans. :-)
