I saw this great idea for
play dough placemats this morning and created one very similar for Bear. The idea is similar to my
Poor Man's Mr. Potato Head. I drew the face without the features, colored it (Bear wanted to use it right away, so I didn't get to finish coloring the shirt), covered it with contact paper and it was ready to go

And seeing all the Halloween posts inspired me to make a pumpkin play dough play mat. I used construction paper and covered the pumpkin shape with contact paper. Would make a fun placemat to eat from too!

I did mention to Bear that eyes are usually the same size, but she insisted that this pumpkin had one small and one big eye.
Cute idea! It seems appropriate for a Halloween pumpkin to have one big eye and one small eye =)
ReplyDeleteWhat a really good idea...I think I am totally going to use this! Ryleigh loves playing playdough :)
ReplyDeleteWe are huge playdoh fans as well. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteYour playdoh mats are super cute - you always have great ideas. I like the story about a big eye and a small eye.
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny that she wanted the pumpkin's eyes to be "unique"! Please check out this post:
