Spill-proof paint cups

>> Tuesday, September 29, 2009

I've seen the Melissa and Doug version and decided I could do it myself.
So simple.
So frugal.
Especially when there's a lot of yogurt being eaten at our house!
It's almost too simple to explain.
Collect as many yogurt containers (with lids) as you want.
Cut circular hole in lid to fit the paintbrush.
Add paint.

When you are done painting, switch the lid with the hole for a full lid and your paint stays dry until you paint again.

Genius. We will definitely be doing this at our house!

Excellent idea. I have a ton of empty yogurt containers. We are really into "repurposing" at our house as well. (O.K. I am, it drives my husband a little crazy. Today we made some Jack-o-lanterns out of an empty pop bottle, a milk jug, and an empty bottle of piƱacolada mix:)

Now THAT's cool. We eat tons of yogurt. I'll keep that in mind for when we have non-finger paints (all we have right now). Thanks!!

Great idea! Do they tip over?? I guess if you don't fill them very full they won't spill even if they do tip over. Now I just need to go buy some yogurt!! Thanks for sharing!
