Geoboard

Thanks to Spinner's End Nursery School for reminding me that I wanted to make a geoboard for Bear. I made it this morning while Bear passed me pushpins to hammer into a board that I hastily covered with one of my old ballet leotards. (Yeah, don't look at the back of our geoboard - not pretty!) Bear immediately started playing with it excitedly. I just used rubber bands because that is what we had. I recommend using something that feels nicer when snapped against your fingers!

  1. I really like your idea of using push pins - I've only seen nails, and these seem much nice for little hands.

  2. That's so cool!!! I'm glad she's having fun. Try the hair elastics that have no metal parts. They are working well for us (you may want to even try to cut the legs of pantyhose into rings... I've read about that somewhere). Let me know if you find what works best. :)
